Two-stage high pressure and high temperature press

The two-stage press operating at high pressure and high temperature is utilized to synthesize novel materials. This press can attain a maximum pressure of 20 GPa and furnish temperatures up to 2000 K. The high-pressure and high-temperature synthesis approach offers the benefits of rapid synthesis and elevated sample density. Its distinct advantage lies in the ability to stabilize high-pressure phases that are otherwise unattainable under normal pressure conditions, as well as the synthesis of compounds containing unstable elements.
